Are you looking for an excellent double bass for a longer period? We offer an attractive rent-to-own arrangement. You rent a new double bass for six months. If you decide to purchase the instrument afterwards, the rent paid and the security deposit are fully deducted from the sale price. In effect, it\u2019s an interest-free installment plan\u2014a truly great deal. Naturally, you can also extend the contract after the initial six months. If you decide to buy the bass after renting it for a year, six months’ worth of rent\u2014plus the security deposit, of course\u2014will still be deducted from the sale price. This advantageous rent-to-own scheme applies to all our new double basses. You can find the terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.<\/p>\n

When renting a bass, an agreement is drawn up, and we require proof of identity. A sample rent-to-own agreement is provided below.<\/p>\n

Rent-to-own agreement details:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1. Rikkers Gitaarbouw rents the instrument described herein to the tenant named below for a minimum period of six months, with automatic renewal for successive six-month periods.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
2. The instrument remains the property of Rikkers Gitaarbouw until full payment has been made.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
3. At the start of the rental period, the tenant shall pay a security deposit to Rikkers Gitaarbouw amounting to 25% of the instrument’s new value (\u20ac612.50). This deposit will be returned to the tenant upon termination of the rental agreement, provided the instrument has not sustained damage from dropping or improper use.<\/p>\n

4. The rental fee is 3% of the new value per month (\u20ac73.50), payable six months in advance (totaling \u20ac441.00).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
5. Upon purchase of the instrument, the cost of six months’ rent will be deducted from the purchase price.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
6. Excessive wear and tear, damage from dropping, and damage resulting from improper use are the responsibility of the tenant. Rikkers Gitaarbouw shall determine whether such damage has occurred.<\/p>\n
